my story as a photographer
Hi! I'm Marie, your future photographer. I'm 26 years alive, born and self raised in Oklahoma. I enjoy doing yoga, spending time in nature and long naps. I was given my first camera in 2019, by my sister; We had seen it in a pawnshop window together and I talked about it all afternoon. I spent over a year practicing before charging anyone, though once I found my spot in the photography world, I bunkered down and have been here ever since. A tortured artist is a stock character and stereotype who is in constant torment due to frustrations with art, other people, or the world in general. I relate to this when I try to create alone; but when I involve other humans, I only feel comfort behind the camera. That's where you come in.
